We hire skip bins for a minimum of 3 days, which gives you plenty of time for most projects. If you need it longer, just give us a call and we can arrange an extension. Most people find 3-5 days is perfect for home renovations or cleanouts.
What happens if I put the wrong materials in my skip?
Don’t worry, we hand-sort everything anyway. However, hazardous materials like paint, chemicals, or asbestos can’t go in our skips for safety reasons. If you’re unsure about something, just give us a call before putting it in.
Do you charge extra for overweight skips?
Yes, there’s an excess weight charge of $20 including GST per 100kg over the limit. Each skip size has a weight limit to keep everyone safe during transport. We’ll let you know if your skip is getting close to the limit when we collect it.
Can you deliver to narrow driveways?
We need a minimum of 2.5 metres of driveway width for our truck to access your property safely. If your driveway is narrower, we can often place the skip on the street (you’ll need to check with your local council about any requirements) or discuss alternative placement options.
