2.3 User Content

3. Skip Hire Services
3.1 Booking and Delivery
- Skip hire minimum period: 3 days
- Same day delivery available Monday to Saturday when ordered before 12pm
- Delivery requires minimum 2.5 meters driveway width
- We reserve the right to refuse delivery if access is unsafe or unsuitable
3.2 Weight Limits and Charges
- Each skip size has specified weight limits
- Excess weight charges: $20.00 incl GST per 100kg over limit
- We may refuse collection of overloaded skips until excess weight removed
3.3 Prohibited Items in Skips
Skip bins may not contain:
- Liquids, chemicals, or hazardous materials
- Asbestos or asbestos-containing materials
- Paint, oils, or petroleum products
- Medical waste, dead animals, or hot materials (ashes, coals)
3.4 Skip Placement
- Skips must be placed on private property unless council permit obtained
- Customer responsible for obtaining required permits
- Customer liable for any damage caused by skip placement
- Skips must not obstruct traffic or pedestrian access
4. Waste Disposal Services
4.1 Accepted Materials
We accept:
- General household and garden waste
- Construction and demolition materials
- Electronic waste, metal, and scrap materials
- Mattresses, furniture, and tyres
- Clean polystyrene packaging
4.2 Prohibited Materials
We cannot accept:
- Liquids, chemicals, or hazardous materials
- Asbestos, paint, oils, or medical waste
- Hot materials or dead animals
4.3 Pricing and Payment
- Minimum charge: $20 for 100L or $45 per car load
- All pricing includes GST
- Payment required at time of disposal (cash or card)
- Materials must be sorted according to staff directions
5. Trade Accounts
5.1 Eligibility
- Available for builders and regular commercial customers
- Credit application and references required
- Payment terms: 20th of month following invoice
5.2 Account Management
- Monthly statements issued
- Late payment fees may apply on overdue accounts
- We reserve the right to suspend credit for overdue accounts
- Interest may be charged at 2% per month on overdue amounts
6. Payment Terms
6.1 General Payment
- Payment required at time of service unless trade account established
- We accept cash, EFTPOS, and credit cards
- All prices include GST unless otherwise stated
6.2 Overdue Accounts
- Collection costs and legal fees may be charged to overdue accounts
- Services may be suspended for accounts in default
7. Liability and Insurance
7.1 Customer Responsibility
- Ensure safe access to delivery/collection sites
- Liable for damage to property during skip placement
- Must ensure skip contents comply with acceptable materials
- Responsible for obtaining necessary permits
7.2 Our Liability
- Our liability is limited to the value of services provided
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages
- Customer indemnifies us against claims arising from their use of services
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Website Content
- All website content is owned by Resource Recovery Devonport Trust
- Protected by New Zealand and international copyright laws
- May not be reproduced without written permission
